fairest of them all

I’ve seen beauty on the beaches.

And now, my lips beg for a chance to see and tell.

Behold, a woman clothed with the sun.

I saw Jupiter, Venus, and the moon that rules the night.

And the bright morning star–

the rising of the sun that rules the day.

But of all my eyes have seen, nothing compares to this.

Not a single beauty more humbling, more beautiful as this:

A woman with child–surrounded by children.

She was smiling.
