“Look upon my affliction and rescue me, For I do not forget Your law.
Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word.”
~Psalm 119:154~

Preserve my cause, O Jesus, for I am hard pressed on every side.

Let them be as chaff before the wind
and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
Let their way be dark and slippery
and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
~Psalm 35:5-6~

The demons rage and the devils plot in vain
I shall watch and lay low, wise as serpents, innocent as doves.

You have seen it, O LORD, do not keep silent
O Lord, do not be far from me.
Stir up Yourself, and awake to my right
And to my cause, my God and my Lord.
~Psalm 35:22-23~

Forever, O LORD, Thy word is firmly set in the heavens
And I have set my affection to the house of my God.

For all things come from You
and from Your hand we have given You.
~1 Corinthians 29:14~

I will bless the LORD at all times
His praise shall continually be in my mouth
The LORD is a warrior and mighty in battle
Let Your Holy Angel be with me
that the evil foe may have no power over me.

Yes, my little one.
I have set my sons, the daughters of Zion, upon my holy hill
For yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory
forever and ever.

One thought on “a gentle tapestry

  1. “Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak,
and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
May my teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and like showers upon the herb.
    For I will proclaim the name of the Lord;
ascribe greatness to our God!” ! ! !
