adopted as sons

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were once far off, have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
~Ephesians 2:13~

The love of God begs for release.

Love needs, longs, dies to give.

  1. Good choice to adopt 2 kittens–they can take their “Kitty Crazies” out on each other instead of people. 🙂 Are they your kids first pet?

    • We went looking for a girl and found one who also had a brother, so we brought them both home so they could stay together. The ‘cat lady’ said the same thing about it being nice for them to have another cat to interact with.

Yes, this is our kids’ first family pets. They are having such a good time with them.

  2. Oh no!!! My dream is coming true. Remember I had a dream I stopped to visit u on my way through Illinois on our way to my in laws in Minnesota. You had a kitten and it left lots of poop all over the kids’ rooms and lots on their beds. I was cleaning your house for u (which I normally do when visiting friends. I catch them up on laundry and cleaning) hahaga. I told u that u needed to get rid of that kitten. U had too much to do taking care of kids. No time for a kitten.

    • Connie, that’s probably the biggest reason we haven’t had any pets up until this point. I didn’t feel like I could take care of the life I had and didn’t want to add more. The older kids are bigger now and they can help a lot more. It is also hard to resist the hopeful pleas of a little girl.

And PLEASE stop by if you are ever driving through!!! You don’t even have to call , just come. You won’t have to clean a thing.

  3. So cute. Your kids all have the same smile! I am not really a pet person but we do have a lovely cat, and some days he still feels like too much work. Kids like animals though, I get it 🙂
