answered prayers

God has restored passion and purpose to my life.

Walking, talking, breathing through the days with my children, it feels like the most natural thing in the world, like this is what I was born to do.  I consider it an amazingly unbelievable gift that I get to do it in the same place where I met and married their father. That’s not something even I could’ve ever dreamed up.

It isn’t perfect.

But for all the times I’ve so badly messed it up, for all the ways I every day continue to trip and fall and find myself in the same old pits, I just want to say to my husband and kids–

“Thank you for showing me grace.”

I want to stop, turn around, and run back to Jesus.

“Thank you for healing me.”
