lost kitten

This just in: One of our kittens is missing.

Earlier this fall we brought home two more kittens.  We’d grown to love our indoor kittens so much, when we came upon the chance to bring home another brother and sister, we adopted them into the family as outdoor kittens.

In the mornings the kids go out and do their kitty chores.  They feed them, play with them, and clean the litter box.  Now that the weather is getting colder, the kids will sometimes bring them into the school room to warm them up.

When we arrived home this evening after a party at church, the grey kitten, Julie, was not around.  Usually when it gets dark, she and her brother, Oreo, head into the garage, and the kids do one more round of kitty chores.  This is the first time she’s ever gone missing.

We said our prayers.

All we can do now is wait.

  1. Oh no! 😦 Love brings with it such wonderful joys…as well as depths of worry and heartache. There’s no way to seperate the latter as it grows with the increase of those joys. Praying for Julie’s safe return!
