in (sm)all things

I’ve got no mad inspirations for 2017.  The last of the Christmas visitors left today, and in all the extended family and visiting, there hasn’t been much time for New Year’s contemplation.  It’s just as well, and even this could serve as a guide.  Don’t stop.

Keep going.  These are the words coming to mind.  Nothing new.  Nothing extravagant. Don’t stop to think about it too long, too hard, too much.  Just continue on with more of the blessed same.  Just take what I continue to give and take away and keep going.

I finished the last of cinnamon ornaments today.  The tray has been waiting under the tree, first waiting for me to buy more ribbon, and then for me to give them the time of day. These were the broken ones.  These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation.

All they needed was another chance.
